Mid-Eastern Federation of Greek Orthodox Choir Convention
As part of this year’s MEFGOX Choir Convention at our church July 19-22, A Convention Album will be published. The parishioners, church musicians, and Dayton community businesses are invited to participate by submitting ads. Funds from the album will help defray the cost of the convention and also help MEFGOX carry out its communications and educational goals. There are three ways to you can be part of the album: 1. Submit a page recognizing the church musicians of your parish. Special parish rate is $100.00 How wonderful if we could have all our parishes represented. 2. As individuals, make a contribution as a gold ($100), silver ($50), or bronze ($25) benefactor. We would be most appreciative. 3. Submit a memorial or a business ad page from others in your community, $150. An extra way to help us. Thank you for your support to the Dayton Convention and MEFGOX! For details, contact the Convention Liaison, Mary Haritos, firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline for submission is May 30.

The first Sunday of every month is designated as “Youth Sunday”
Students learn about the life of the church by participating in various roles during the Divine Liturgy. They serve our Lord by greeting parishioners, assuming ushering duties, singing in the choir, leading the congregation in The Lord’s Prayer, The Creed and reading The Epistle. In addition, a collection tray is passed to help defray the cost of our new books and Catechism School curricular needs. We wish to thank all of the parishioners who so generously give!
STEWARDSHIP 2018: PROVIDING FOR THE FUTURE, SERVING THE PRESENT
